EW I've had many moments of not wanting to be pregnant anymore because of the nausea. (I still have it now although not nearly as bad as the first few weeks). I just try to keep in mind that many women do this over and over again in spite of the morning sickness - some people put themselves through hyperemresis several times! So I figure it must all be worth it! Big hugs though. It is vile

Is anyone else a bit of an emotional wreck? I'm so oversensitive (was last time too) and had to have a big snotty cry on dh earlier just to get it out of my system!

Chants your not a horrible person, it's a shock isn't it it feels like you've been hit by a bus. I think some people sail through and others don't, but every day is a day closer. I feel completely wiped out, def getting my iron levels checked as they were so low last time it made me quite ill.

Im finding it really hard too. Not moaning but my goodness Im never taking "feeling normal" for granted again Its the tiredness - by 9pm Im asleep most nights and I just dont want to eat dinner, feel so nauseas that time.

Anyhoo Im 8 weeks today. Taking each day at a time. Midwife phoned ysterday but spoke to my DH. She should be calling me back I hope to arrange an apt.

Emmyloo yes on the emotions. I cried last week as my son had friends over and none of them ate the dinner I had made It mostly went in the bin and I cried over this!

Thank you so much girls, that has really helped

I had a pretty good weekend considering I had to work and pack the house up as I'm leaving it on Sat. The morning sickness is coming and going now so at least its giving me a reprieve.

I'm 8 weeks on Friday which is crazy! I can't believe how quick the last 5 weeks have gone! Hopefully will be registering with the new doc week after next so can get my scan booked. Once I see it I might actually start believing it! I cannot suck my stomach in anymore which is slightly unnerving

It is awful the sickness all the time but suppose it has to be done!

I am 7 weeks this week so think in three weeks time I am going to get a private scan because its usually around 15 weeks where I am before you get your 1st scan so dont think I could wait that long.

Yea tiredness is a big problem.. im asleep most nites by half 9 nd also have to nap during the day.. and now unfortunatly I have a cold :( my throat is sooo sore feels like there is razors in my throat! think I will hav to go to the doc if it gets much worse. hope everyone is doing well now

I'm thinking of getting a private scan next week at 9 weeks as its going to take a while to register with a new doc and then get referred to their midwife services. I also want to know if there is just one baby in there or not!

What makes you think there might be more than one EW?

I had my booking in apt with midwife today. Was good. I have to go to drs in 2
weeks time for blood taking and some tests.

12 weeks still seems a lifetime away!

Scrap that lol, I've booked it for this Sunday instead! I'm stupidly excited!

Funnily enough its because i had a tarot reading a while back and they predicted twins, I showed up on a preg test 6 days before I was due on and my sister was potentially one of twins (my mother suffered a suspected miscarriage whilst pregnant with her and they believed it was her twin that was lost). So all in all it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possible, but equally i am more convinced there is just the one in there
