Dessert to go with chicken roast?

We have friends around on Sun for lunch & we are doing a roast.
What dessert can we serve after that compliments a chicken roast?
I can only think of apple pie/crumble something warm with ice cream?

    Any other suggestions?

    Thank you

    Tiramisu?

I have a very easy recipe which uses dream topping rather than marscapone

It's supposed to be quite nice this weekend and so I'd probably do something on the lighter side.

My choices would be lemon tart (Which admittedly I can't cook!), pavlova or a baked cheesecake.

    Yumm

I would do something light as well, I can never manage a big hot pudding after a roast. Pavlova is a good idea and easy to make. And I've made these a few times, v easy and v yum

Eton Mess is a nice one for after a roast

I was hoping for a 'light' suggestion, thank you. I like the look of Rosa's suggestion, will make it if I have time. Else Eton mess sounds ideal.

    Thank you x

if your guests are anything like me they'll be happy with whatever you give them - I'd be happy even with coffee and chocolates, if it's sweet and tastes good I'm happy!
