iPod stylus
My Ds uses an iPod touch at school. It has been a steep learning curve for him as all his classmates are familiar with touch screen items and the way they work, but it is all new to him. I thought that over time he would pick it up and get used to how they work. Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case and every lesson is marred by his inability to use the iPod. We think we have found a possibility of borrowing an iPhone over the weekend just so that he can play with it and have time to fiddle and get used to something similar.
From talking to him one of his main problems is actually getting the touch screen to respond. I wonder if it would be worth buying him a stylus to try until he gets more adept? Are they any good? And are they all pretty much the same? Any recommendations?
Failing that I may have to go in and ask if he can be allowed to use a pencil and paper to take notes!

Re: iPod stylus
I've looked on line and they vary in price from £4 to £25+.
Is there anywhere I can just walk in and buy one?

Re: iPod stylus
I've been vaguely educating myself, and you need something more sepvific for an iPod because the touch screen works deifferently. I suppose I'll have to wait and see how bad he is with his finger and then order something at the weekend if I think it would help.
I'll keep my eyes open at places like that though just in case. Thanks.

Re: iPod stylus
Cant you just ask the school if he can borrow one for the weekend? Explain why and see if they can help.
