It has a lot of claims, like it's anti-wrinkle and helps clear skin; I'm not sure about them as I already have clear skin and not too many wrinkles. I buy it from eBay as it's cheaper than online shops.

That's really interesting How did you choose a shade without seeing them?

I'm still happy with the Garnier one and it's lasted ages. I don't have a problem with greasiness except my nose gets a bit shiny but not horrendously so. The No7 one was so so orange on me, I'm glad I didn't buy it but got the sales assistant to give me a sample

I'd be interested to know too, just looking at it on eBay, but not sure what shade to order. I'm pale with pink undertones, I'm thinking being Korean, it may be too yellow for me?

I wish I could say there was a trick to it but I just bought the lightest shade they have (#13). I think you can get some sample sizes on ebay if you need to try it out. There's also a few reviews on Youtube which might be useful.

I bought the l'oreal one and it's the most hideous facial problem I've ever used. Crap moisturiser and utterly rubbish tint/ coverage. Crap on all fronts. Has completely put me off ever buying one again.

I've just invested in a set of Emma hardie skin care stuff and absolutely love it. Such a massive difference to my skin.

    Re: BB Creams

Kat, I had a free sample of the L'oreal one and it lasted half a day because I had to wash it off my face because it made me itch.

I'm liking the Maybelline one,the colour is good on me (i bought the lightest for day to day and the "universal glow" for when I have fake tan on) - so far so good with it. The coverage is very light and it has more the consistency of a tinted moisturser so looks more natural than the garnier one (that was very heavy on my skin) and it doesn't go too oily looking on my skin. I do wear a mattifying moisturiser underneath (always have to as I have very oily skin) but I like it a lot.

I hated the l'oreal one too.

Just been looking at the Emma Hardie website and might also have to try! Was on the lookout for new skincare.

    Thanks!

ETA - don't think maybelline one is available over here yet. Will check the stands when I pop out and maybe try that too.

Honey Dew - the Maybelline one has just come out in the states at a grand price of $7.49, cheaper than the UK as well!.

    Re: BB Creams

Just bumping up this thread again as Garnier have a new BB cream out - oil free one for combo skin, might be good for the few of us who found the original one too oily.
