Well it's still going. I'm probably mad but I've decided to keep the auction running and hope it gets up to a good price (eeeek!)
Now, who on here is watching it????? Because the watch list went up rather dramatically after I posted it on here! It's currently got 26 watchers, I wonder how many of those are damsels?

Well if they are willing to pay £150 then they should stick in on as their highest bid. Then if nobody bids against them they get it cheaper and if keeps going past that tough luck to them. Isn't that the whole point of Ebay?
ETA: I am watching and may have a bid too - it is a top lot

Re: An EBay WWYD.
Well exactly, I would hazard a guess they know it could go higher and are trying to do the deal, so to speak, before it goes too high.
I hope, for your benefit Chickpea, that does happen.
I'm not watching, so will you update this thread to tell us how much it finally goes for please? The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.

Sure, will do!
I just had a bit of a wobble when someone offered £60 for it the other day!! (which is a stupidly low amount) The T cranks, books and brushes are worth more than that on their own, never mind the pots!! So I then started to think 'oh feck, maybe I should've taken the other offer!'
Skylark, completely didn't think about the fact that you're into ceramics! I would love you to bid (and win). It'd be a great chance to meet up again! x x

Re: An EBay WWYD.
Well, not that I need an excuse but this would be a good one
Andy is getting my big kiln hooked up to the grid this summer and we are sorting out the garage and other logistics over the next two years. So the plan is that in 2015 I will be able to have adult evening courses and also host kids and adult pottery painting parties in the garden. I have sold quite a few of my own pits on Folksy and will be displaying them in the local arts trail so things are looking up on that front. But I need to work to add some regular money to the family coffers.

Just out of interest Skylark, if (hypothetically) you were to put in a bid, what sort of figure did you have in mind?

Well, it's at £112, an hour and a bit to go. TBH I'm happy with that, anything more is a bonus.
