Next Shoes - any good for toddlers?
In fact, not just Next but any high street store that does kids shoes.
I want to get A some Doodle type shoes but haven't seen any in Clarks I particularly like. I have seen some nice ones in Next and they are a lot cheaper so could get two pairs
Are Next toddler shoes generally ok? I'd obviously check they fitted and not get them if they didn't. Where else is good for cheaper kids shoes? Do they still support their feet properly? Or should I stick to Clarks, Start-rite or Hush Puppies?

I'm contemplating this too as we have lost Oren's shoes and I can't really afford a similar pair but he can't live in wellies the whole time (even though he loves wearing them). I was also looking at ebay but am worried about them not fitting well. I'm going to take him to be measured again tomorrow and will have a look as Clarks and Next are just a couple of shops apart here.

I tend to buy a few pairs of Clarks on EBay I haven't even tried start rite yet as I'm not sure on their sizing.
They're quite cheap too...
I'd bought some silver sequin baseball pumps for Ashley from Tesco about a month ago & they fit great, they were value for money too (sure they were miss priced though as they only cost £1.99 @ the checkout )

Re: Next Shoes - any good for toddlers?
Next kids shoes are good, in fact most of the high street are. My two have a variety from Next, H&M, George at Asda, Tesco and M&S - I think I only used Clarks once for both of them as they were so expensive and didn't measure them very well!

Re: Next Shoes - any good for toddlers?
Thanks everyone. I think I'll go into the shops and have a look and try them on her. She has only really had Hush Puppies before as that's all they do in our local independent shop. She always fits them well but it gets so expensive! Hopefully the Next or Asda will fit her.
