Quick question on refunds on eBay
Received item (DVD) and it was scratched and didn't play properly on 2 different DVD players. Seller has sent through a refund, no problem, although I only got the amount back for the DVD (£8) when the full cost to me was £9.25 which including the posting and packaging. Should I have expected the whole amount back or was the £8 back correct?
Just wanted to check as I've never got a refund before. I'm not too fussed about £1.25 but just didn't know the form.
Thanks.

Thanks Damz

Just didn't know if I was being a bit pernickety. I have emailed the seller, so let's see what happens next.

Re: Quick question on refunds on eBay
I'd expect the whole lot.
If the seller doesn't stump up willingly, open a dispute which will very much more than likely go in your favour for the whole amount.

Re: Quick question on refunds on eBay
If it was a business seller, then you were actually entitled to the full amount plus your return costs.

Re: Quick question on refunds on eBay
Hi suemarie,
Seller responded and has since sent another payment through which was the postage so I'm happy.
