The Pill after kids
Ahead of docs appt this week am thinking of the options regarding my skin. I'm thinking about anti-b's and also going on the pill for a short while. Last time I was on it, they went and didn't come back (until a very long time later - after having DD). I think I took Celeste and also Yasmin for a while.
Anyone found they reacted differently to the pill after children? I'm also slightly concerned about increased cervical cancer risk so would need to talk to doc about that. It would also address my VERY heavy period problem.......

Re: The Pill after kids
I was on the pill since having my son (6 next month) until last December. I had a 1 year break with the coil.
No problems here with the pill and it def. helped my skin. I went back onto it (had coil out) as I had horrid break-outs.
I was on the combined pill but my minds gone blank on its name
Blue packet beginning with a M I think.

Re: The Pill after kids
I've been on Dianette (which was fine, but my GP wouldn't let me be on it for long). I've also been on Celeste, which made me feel suicidal - after that I gave up on the pill altogether

Re: The Pill after kids
Yes I was on Dianette at University - great skin, but so much weight gain and v low mood.
Its such a long time ago but I have a feeling Yasmin gave me headaches. I'll need to ask doc which one was the last one i was on as I think that was the best for me, which I think was celeste.
Good to know the cancer risk doesn't stand, I wouldn't go on it for long, just til i get around to endometrial ablation....
