Any other parents of ASD suffer this??

We can go weeks with relatively normal behavious and then all of a sudden we have a week of breakdowns, no communication and a lot of hard work.

This week DS1 has been too out of his science class for being upset for no reason we can discover.
Has spent the week in his bedroom and just wanting to be alone.
This morning I had a flat tyre which led to total chaos and him being 15 mins late for school which just left his so upset and he had a full meltdown. I took him in to school and he went to pastoral office as they are usually very good at dealing with him only today they couldnt get through to him so had to ring me for help.

90% of the time I can cope but this just upsets me so much when he is like this and leaves me worrying about whats going to happen when he leaves school in just over a year
