Is seller a scammer - what to do?

2 weeks ago I bought a pair of kids jeans from a seller on eBay - 98% feedback score. There was quite a long lead time for delivery which I thought was a bit odd but never mind.

They should have been here latest last Friday but are still showing as not shipped. I emailed her asking nicely if they had been sent and if not to advise an eta. No response.

Yesterday I emailed to say I was concerned about lack of response and would be opening a dispute if she didn't contact me in 24 hours. No response.

What do I do now - it's only a tenner but it's theft. I checked her feedback and the one negative was for the same thing - not sending the item, everything else was positive but she had been the buyer in all cases.

WWYD? Give her the benefit or go to dispute and give her horrible feedback?

I think you need to leave it a certain amount of time before you can raise a dispute/leave meh feedback - is it 28 days?

Yes 28 days rings a bell. I don't want to do it, I just want her to send the jeans or let me know if there is a problem, I am happy to wait or whatever - it's so frustrating!

I'd start a dispute too. You have to do it within a certain amount of time rather than leave it I think.

I have just opened a dispute with PayPal for something I bought from a website. Never had to do this before!

I would open a dispute. The one time i had to do it the buyer ended up coughing up fairly quickly. Good luck!

Definitely open a dispute. You have quite a long time to leave feedback so I'd resist getting the red pen out until you've had your refund.
