    Tom cats at 4-5months

Do they hit puberty? Rambo is nearly 5m and in the last week he's gone from "best, most lovely kitten ever" to master of annoying habits.
He pummels his paws on you; before it was quite gentle and he'd stop & settle down quickly now he doesn't stop. He's digging more aggressively in his litter and flicking it everywhere. When he goes outside he gets stuck in high places, howls for help but then grips on with his claws when you try to get him down. I've noticed he's a bit smelly, he randomly jabs the dd's when they walk past him (& the dog too but that's normal). Hes stealing the dog food again. His balls have appeared - should i arrange for the op sooner rather than later?

Is he marking yet? I would have a chat with your vet re the op as most of the behaviour you describe will calm down once neutered. I've also noticed that their behaviour changes around 2 yo as well.

Not as far I know unless he's done it when he's been out.
It's like a complete personality change-he's gone needy but stroppy at the same time. We were only at the vets last Tuesday for a weigh in/worm/flea thing with the nurSE.

My two are just coming up for 6 months and in the last few weeks they have definitely changed. It's completely normal. They are booked in for the chop this week.
