New kitten!
This is the kitten we will be re-homing from the Blue Cross in mid-March when she is 9 weeks old

At the moment, her name is really close to that of our lovely Minstrel who died last summer, so I need to change it ......... all ideas gratefully received!
I'm so giddy, and can't wait to have her - she'll never replace my Min, but then again, she wasn't intended to either!

Re: New kitten!
Ooo, I like Jett (but that's my son's name), Jinx or Harry (not sure why but that's what we called our first black cat so it just works for me for black cats)

PS Jett can be a female name too as witnessed by the mother who bought J a fairy book for his birthday as she thought he was a girl in her son's class
She'd only known female Jetts.

Re: New kitten!
Thanks everyone

I'm still very undecided
I like Betty, Olive, Dotty, Doris, Raven and Sooty. I'm avoiding names starting with 'M' or I know that we'll end up calling her Minstrel and all the derivatives we had as nicknames!
She may remain nameless until she's at home with us and we can see what suits her best!!! I'm going to 'visit' her again on Saturday and just can't wait to bring her home!

Re: New kitten!
Thanks for all your ideas - we've decided on Betty!
Here she is at about 7 weeks old, taken at the vets where she's being looked after at the moment by one of the lovely Vet Nurses!
