Re: *~*~*Sept/Oct Mummies 2012*~*~*
Hi Ladies,
how is everyone doing?
The last couple of days I've noticed my appetite is returning somewhat back to normal.. ie I don't want to eat everything in sight! But my morning sickness is still quite bad, at night!! Still struggle to brush my teeth without gagging!
Have my 12 week scan a week tomorrow so really looking forward to that!!
Hope you're all well! x

Re: *~*~*Sept/Oct Mummies 2012*~*~*
I still get the gagging now lr - highly tiresome! In the mornings I have several attempts to brush my teeth, about 20 seconds each time. If I don't have to leave the house, I leave it a bit later, brushing them about half 10 by which time I don't gag quite so much. Slightly minging, but makes for a slightly more pleasant start to the day!

Re: *~*~*Sept/Oct Mummies 2012*~*~*
A friend of mine really struggled with cleaning her teeth - she switched to a non-minty toothpaste (it was herbal iirc) and found that helped the problem.
I'm starting to feel much more human and am sleeping a bit better too which is a blessed relief.
We were planning on not telling Ben for a while, but he's been acting up a lot in the past few days which I think is partly due to the fact that he 'knows' something is up as he's probably heard snippets of all sorts of odd conversations. So we decided to tell him this afternoon and he seems quite excited but a bit bewildered and is desperate to know how the baby will be born. He says he doesn't mind if it's a boy or a girl, but would like to call it Banana?!?

Hello ladies!! I'm so sorry for my absence, I've been desperate to get on here & see how you're all doing, but between the girls, working, feeling v sick & tired & also getting ready for Oz, I've barely got time to think!
Just a v quickie to say hi (got a wedding at midday), and I'll pop on tomorrow eve for a catch up.
All is good here though, belly has really popped out, & I have my private scan on Wed, eeeek!
I also have my NHS nuchal scan for the day after we get back from Oz, I'll be 13+4
Just gonna go pop a couple of pics on the bump thread.
Xxx

Hi girls! Hope you're all doing well? Sorry I've not checked in for a while, just been really busy with work, boo!
Got my 12-week scan this afternoon.....at last, the waiting is nearly over. Feeling surprisingly OK about it (as I've been a bag of nerves for the last 2 scans). I think the fact that I've heard the heartbeat at home (last checked on Saturday) and my ever-expanding belly are giving me hope....
It's really weird to feel so big this early on - with my last pregnancy, I had only just started to pop out around the time of my 20-week scan.
My appointment isn't until 3pm - it's going to be a long day! Will report back as soon as I can afterwards but it probably won't be till late tonight.

Hi Ladies!
Dancing Queen - hope you are feeling less sicky! Exciting about your scan on weds!
Calypso - good luck for your scan this afternoon, how exciting!! Looking forward to hearing all about it later!!
As for me, told a few of the girls at the weekend, they were all very excited - especially one who is due a week before me!! So we were full on in baby talk mode which was nice.
I also have my 12 week scan this week! It's Thursday at 2pm so very excited!!

Hope all goes well Calypso.
I know how you feel re. feeling big. With my first pregnancy nobody else noticed till 17/18 weeks and I was in normal clothes for quite a long time after that. Today (13+5ish) I;m sat here with my jeans undone - classy!!

I'm wearing my normal jeans which I can still do up, but they dig at the waistband so I'm using the hairband trick and not doing the top button up, works a treat!

I've done the same, it multiplies in...
