Re: 30 day shredders thread for us
Keep going Jellybean, it does get better

I think I'm on day 5 or 6 of level 2. Felt flippin hard today, not sure what that was all about. The thing that nearly finishes me off every time is those bloody squats with the V flies

Re: 30 day shredders thread for us
I haven't done the DVD for a cuple of weeks as I thought it was the cause of my sore knees. However, this week they were sore after Zumba.

How's everyone getting on? How're your knees holding up Chell?
I'm putting off moving onto level 3
I might do level 2 one more time tonight and brave it tomorrow. I've been mixing it up a little with some work on the cross trainer which is stopping things getting boring. I've also just bought another Jillian Michael's DVD. It's the banish fat and boost metabolism one. Although it's 40 minutes

Re: 30 day shredders thread for us
I started level 3 have done it 2X and it is hard but I managed to stay with Natalie for all but one move so I am quite pleased with myself. At points I stopped an exercise slightly before them as I felt I could not go on but got straight on with the next one so hopefully I am doing enough work to see a difference
Not sure what I will do when I finish level 3 though. Maybe go back and do level 2 again as I found that really hard

Re: 30 day shredders thread for us
That one's good. I felt sick towards the end the first time I did it (I make myself keep up with them)
, but it does get easier!
I'm still rotating my Jillian Michaels DVDs. I had to have a few days off last week and I found the first day back hard; it's surprising how quickly I lose my strength and fitness levels - motivation to keep at it every day unless it's impossible! I'm going to have to find a way of taking them abroad with me soon!

Re: 30 day shredders thread for us
I did the DVD for the first time in a while tonight. I went back to level one. I struggled doing the sets of press ups yet a few weeks ago I could do lots.
I did one set of side lunges but I think it is a move like this in Zumba which bothers my knees. Instead of doing the second set, I continued to lie on my back and use the weights which came before the lunges.

Re: 30 day shredders thread for us
I am taking measurements and photos. I can't say there is much difference I have lots of difference from when I started with the Wii Active Sport for 2 months to today though. I do not think I will loose much weight with 30 day shred but my fitness levels are increasing. Maybe I will be brave enough to share when I get to my goal

Ouch, across my arms/front of shoulders ache today. It is amazing how quickly your fitness drops with a few weeks off.
