Re: Threads for dieters not following a plan

DH did the food shopping yesterday we have crISPs, biscuits and cocktail sausages in the house!
Ignoring my food I had a reasonable gym session today.
15min cross trainer, 15min octane, 5 min row, 2x20 sit-ups, Russian twist (7kg), side sit ups, 2x45sec planks. 2x12 dead lifts, bent over row, upright row.
Trying pump out tomorrow for first time since I hurt my back. Hope it holds out.

BK, was that the ball that you wanted to slim for? Did you feel better in your dress? Hope you enjoyed it.

Elvisola, I know I bang on about MFP but I am hoping it helps me to maintain. So far it has helped for a few weeks now. I'm still watching portion size but eating normally and tracking on there. There are foods I avoid as I now think what a waste of calories they are.

CB, they do membership but the classes finish about 7.45. The Zumba and Booiaka start at 8.30. These fit in much easier as I can still take the girls to dancing or put them all to bed.

    .
Yes that was the ball. I ended up wearing the second dress, which is much more forgiving. It is my favourite dress that I have so I pretty much always feel good in it

The ball was fantastic. It was a cheesy 80s night complete with a brilliant George Michael tribute act and another 80s covers band...a good meal and a free bar all night

George and Brad, free with every BlueKat post...bargain !

Re: Threads for dieters not following a plan

Another 4lb loss for me since I last posted which takes me up to 3lb off 4st.

I haven't had chance to hit the usual gym classes as work has been hetic but I have been getting there about 1am after work for a general session.

I'm happy with 4lb as I am having major body shape changes again so even though i've not lost as muchI have dropped another dress size (bottom half) and seeing definate changes in the top half of my body.

Well done to everyone on this thread, we're all doing really well

    Well done WW.

I've been crap, eaten too much sweet stuff this week. I went to Zumba this evening and tried to really push myself. There was some new routines that were straightforward. I felt a little disappointed that it wasn't a killer session.

    Well done wicked, fab loss.
I maintained again but I am wobbly! Back on it though, yesterday 30mins cardio and 10min back & abs. Today i did a circuits class, planning to meet friend at gym tomorrow so it has to happen.
Hoping to get a class in on wed lunchtime at work (not sure if it's spin or circuits), Thursday is balance night and Friday I'll go to the gym. Planning circuits for Sunday evening.

Re: Threads for dieters not following a plan

Forgot to say I saw my SIL who I hadn't seen since before Xmas and she commented on my weight loss - basically saying she'd never seen me as big as I was then, but still, I've shifted it so I'm happy!

That's good to hear what your SIL said CB. I'd text my friend the other day as I'd ran past her rushing DD to the loo in Asda. She replied then text back adding that her husband said to mention to me how much weight I'd lost.

I'm trying to maintain still which seems to be ok. My scales are wobbling as I still weight myself daily. I thought I was still losing but I then seemed to maintain which is good.

Last week I did Zumba Wed/Fri and then I ran two miles in the rain today. I'm at Zumba again Wed but might try to run again tomorrow night. I won't be able to exercise towards the end of the week. For years the only exercise I had was walking, now I hate it if I can't exercise. I forgot, I had a brisk 45min walk yesterday with my Mum and her dog. Didn't feel quite so bad about eating a scrummy Easter dinner.
