2012 - Post your completed craft projects here
Thought i would start a new thread for 2012,
I've just finished a sample save the date card for a girl that I work with, I hope she likes it!

and another card for a friend who is having a rough time of it..

and finally a card that i made just to use up the butterlfies from the sample save the date!

Beautiful cards!
I made this. The yarn shade is called Iona and as my DD has he same name it was meant to be! The yarn is printed with the fairisle effect on it. Wish it either matched better or was completely different but overall I'm happy with it!
ETA, it needs blocking.

It took just over a week but I'm not the quickest knitter and I had hand surgery just before christmas so it slowed me down a bit!
Lucypede it was a Sirdar pattern which goes up to age 6-7 but there are loads about, you can use any DK pattern.

The yarn is called Sirdar Crofter, I got mine from www.deramores.co.uk but you can probably get it a bit cheaper in other places, there's lots of shades. I've got another one to make another cardie in

Another finished one! Must pass some credit on to Katiekipper for this one as she made it first and I fell in love with hers!

It will look better when it has buttons on it and it's not being worn over the top of very thick fleece pj's!
