    Wii games for losing weight

We have dusted off the wii today and apart from DD's just dance and the original wii fit we dont have any exercise games. I thought maybe investing in one for when the kids are in bed to try and shift some weight as i do zero exercise.

So any recommendations? been looking at the zumba games, ea active, biggest loser...open to any other suggestions/recommendations please

I have the EA Active one, and it's not a "fun" one if you know what I mean, you literally work your butt off, I felt the effects of that one for days.

I've received copies of both of the Zumba ones to review on my blog and they're both really good and if you put the effort in you definitely work up a swear.

If you want to use the Wii Fit still, I like the Wii Fit Plus add-on as it has some nice features/extra activities.

I find the fitness ones quite boring but LOVE the dancing ones and you can really get up a good sweat

I use the sports active one. Last seen for only £12 on ebay

It is a serious workout and you feel it afterwards.

Thanks for the responses, if the sports active one is only about £12 on ebay i might splash out and get the zumba as well as DD like that too

Sorry another quick question, do you mean EA active 2? or 1?

I find the Wii fit plus so pointless for getting fit??
Spent that much money on it, and none of it makes me remotely tired or sweaty or even get my heart rate up.

I have the Zumba 2 and to be honest, without trying to a moany minnie, it's so damn hard I just stand there LOST and therefore don't get to do any exercise.. Muchos sad about that!

I think I might get the EA then, but I am prepared for being let down, and might just stick with my DVDs instead, at least I know they are hardcore x

Which DVD's would you recommend? I just need to be able to do some form of exercise in the house as I have got the kids with me most of the time!

I guess it's how much effort you put in? Depending on activity, I've broke a sweat on Wii Fit.

Zumba 2 is easier to follow than the first one, so just as well you didn't get that one!

I only have EA Active so have nothing to compare it with but you can set it for random stuff or tailor a program based on what suits you or what sort of activity you want/like. So, I've got set programs for me but a couple for the kids that are mainly boxing and dancing for example. Have a go if you can get it cheaply, it's a good starting point. I've certainly built up a sweat with it and noticed a difference to my fitness when used regularly.
