How are we all doing? I am 4days in starting slimming world (I am doing Extra Easy, cant cope with Red/Green days
) and finding it quite hard this time round! I am actually hungry, which I have never been before on SW! Yesterday was particularly bad! Anyway am sticking to it really well (so far!) and hope to loose enough to be able to get into a gorgeous dress I have for Tekks wedding in may

So how are you all doing and what plans are you following?

    Hello! Hope everyone is well!

I'm not doing a specific plan yet (due to lack of money for subs!) but am hoping to join SW in February - until then, I've set myself miniscule goals and am just going to try to be good and cook dinner at home more rather than relying on take aways and ready meals!

I've just booked a week away the last week in August so I've got till then in tranche one to make myself feel not too hideous in a swimming costume!

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

Hello I am doing WW and my weigh-in day is Tuesday, so will post my result tomorrow. I actually started a bit half-heartedly on NYD, so had only lost 1.6lbs by my first weigh-in, so am hoping for a good loss tomorrow.
I need to lose 1.5 - 2 stones overall, and am aiming to manage that by the end of the year, rather than starting and ending the year at roughly the same weight, as happened last year!

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

Started today! I am following SW principles (extra easy), but I am not a paying member. Will be using this forum, minimins for inspiration, and some SW books loaned from a friend. Also got some SW cookery books from library which is great if you scan the book

Need to lose some weight since having kids and just shape up in general. I know this works, as DH and I did it for about 2 months last year, but fell off when the stepkids stayed for a fortnight DH also doing it, but he has got more to lose than me.

    Good luck everyone!!

    Hello
When do we need to weigh in? i weighed myself last Wednesday and am trying to avoid the scales until absolutely necessary birthday this week so went out on Saturday night for it and had a meal (tapas) and too much alcohol so going to try and be really strict this week. Not following any particular plan just trying to cut down.

    Good luck ladies

    Hello

I'm following SW from my old books rather than going to class because I'm broke I have about 3 stone to lose but am aiming for 6lbs this month

Are we counting losses this week? I weighed in this morning and have lost 3lbs, which is a good start.

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

    Hello ladies.

I won't be following any particular plan other than to reduce portion size, try to be good with what I eat and do stuff like chew more, eat slower so I know earlier when I am full. Bit Paul McKenna ish but it's worked for me in the past so fingers crossed again.

Good luck to us all! X

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

    Hi ladies

I definitely need this thread for motivation, hope that keeping a diary will help too

I'm following WW but the old version of points as I don't really like the new version and I'm too tired to get used to something new. I have 12lb to lose and weighed myself this morning. Can't pretend its baby weight any longer!

    Today:
    B - raisins - 0.5
    L - noodles and chilli chicken - 7
D - pasta, tomato and basil sauce and mozzarella - 5

    S - nut bar (2) crisps (2) crisps (1.5) toffee (2) snack-a-jack (1)

I think that comes to 19 points so thats ok. Missed breakfast this morning as I was in a such a rush, I'll try to get up earlier tomorrow as I've been shaky at work all day, hungry this afternoon and needed loads of snacks

    Good luck everyone

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

Weighed in this morning - a loss of 3.8lbs, so I'm pretty happy right now. Shame the weight loss always slows dramatically after the first couple of weeks, isn't it?

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

Brilliant loss BellaDonna Well I have had to have something decent (and quick!) for breakfast as I wont be able to eat now till about 3.30pm ish!!! I am in work and dont get a break

So breakfast has been 2 brown buns (1 hex b, 1 5.5 syns) with bacon and a grapefruit.

Will try and grab a tangerine or something just before I start.

Had a sneaky midweek break and think I have lost 2lb but obviously cant tell for sure till I go on Thursday

Hope everyone has a good day

    xx

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

    Hello everyone.

I'm going to be following a low carb style diet, reducing the amount of bread, potatoes, pasta and rice I eat - I know my body does not cope well when I eat them. I've already lost 31lbs since the end of June and this is the plan I have been following so I think I'm best continuing with that.

I decided to change my gym membership to a much better place that has more equipment, better classes and should hopefully make me want to go there more. I joined this evening did 25 minutes of cardio, 30 minutes of weights, had a 15 minute swim and then did a 45 minute Aquafit class

My weigh in day is usually a Friday - first thing in the morning so am hoping to get a good result this week

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

    Hi everyone

My lack of posting is a bit of a worry, I'm not that motivated, but surely I can lose 3lb?

    Anyway today I've had:

    Breakfast - weetabix and milk - 2
    Lunch - noodles and veg - 5
Tea - steak, blackbean and chilli sauce and rice - 7

Snacks - toast (4), few bits of popcorn (0.5)

So thats 18.5 points today, not as bad as I thought. I've chopped some veggies for snacks at work tomorrow as thats what's letting me down. Doesn't help that we have loads of chocolate left from Christmas

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

    Hi everyone

I am trying but am struggling with the crap eating habits I've slipped into It doesn't help that there are so many biscuits and chocs at work. I was really hungry on Monday afternoon (I worked from 8am to 6.30pm with no break and was famished by 5.30) and had to move a chocolate yule log, a box of liqueur chocs, a box of thorntons chocs and two boxes of choccy biccies to get to the plain digestives

    Yesterday I had:

    B: 2 weetabix and ss milk (hex a & b)
L: pea and mint risotto with veg
    T: spag bol
    Snack : 3 biscuits

Re: Hey Team Pink - How are you?

    Good luck Adele

Have worked from home so much easier today:

    B: 2 weetabix and ss milk (hex a & b)
    L: leek and potato soup
D: Pasta bake with tuna and peas with some low fat philly in it and a tiny bit of cheese (and finger - I grated it ) on top

I really can't find my books though so I can't work out the syns
