Re: What tog toddler duvet?
Mine have 4.5 tog duvets all year, then I just alter their pjs for the weather. They have never complained of being cold. Duvet toggage (I just made up that word
) is linked to the surface area of the bed I believe, so a 4.5 tog duvet on a toddler bed is not the same as a 4.5 tog duvet on a kingsize.

Re: What tog toddler duvet?
I was advised by someone that because duvets work by trapping air he smaller the persOn the more enhanced the air-trappage is then the lower the tog is needed. It made sense at the time but now it doesn't!
Atm DD1 has her single duvet & a cotbed duvet Over vest & pjs.
Dd2 has vest, pjs, duvet, taggy cotbed blanket, fleece blanket.

Re: What tog toddler duvet?
Yep-the Grobags always have info with them about not using any other bedding.
Not according to Grobag-but obviously it's more relevant to young babies, not big escaping/wriggling toddlers!
ETA: This... "You should use your Grobag instead of blankets and sheets. The only other bedding required is a bottom sheet. Grobags are designed to replace blankets and sheets. They come in three tog (warmth) ratings for your individual baby and the temperature of your baby’s sleeping place. Duvets, quilts and pillows should not be used for babies under 1 year old and never with a Baby Sleep Bag. FSID recommend that the safest place for your baby to sleep is in a cot or crib in your room for the first six months. However, if your baby shares your bed, make sure he is only in a Grobag, and not under your own bedding as well. Please note that Grobags are designed to replace blankets and sheets in your baby's cot or bed."

Re: What tog toddler duvet?
R is in a toddler bed and has a 10.5 I think single duvet, tucked in as it's obv quite big. Her new bedroom is quite cold and she has been waking up at night cold, despite a blanket over the top, which is driving me a bit
atm. I'm shattered.
Considering getting her a big warm one tomorrow. As well as a proper single bed!!
