    What tog toddler duvet?

I'm all confused what tog to get

    There is a 2.5 a 4 and a 7.5 tog

Ds is in his bed already still in his bag with blankets

    His bag is a 2.5tog

He seems happy in his bag still but think he would be happy in duvet alone too or both

What tog is best when used with bag and what tog if used by itself?

    Thanks

E has a 4 tog, which seems ample. If its a really cold night, she wears a vest and I add a blanket.

Eta she's 6, so obv not been in a bag for years. Maybe a lower tog would be good if you're using a bag with it.

I think it was L66TTy that worked/found out how much tog there is in everything that an infant/toddler wears to bed

    Something like this:

    Sleepsuit/pyjammas - 1.5 tog
    Nappy 1.5 tog
    Gro-bag/slumbersac 1 - 2.5 tog
not to mention if you have combed cotton cotbed sheets & aditional blankets

    FWIW

Ashley sleeps in a summer gro-bag, with pyjammas & a thin patchwork throw over her with a cellular cotton blanket & a warm soft fleecy blanket on the top.

I feel cruel when I have a 9tog and a throw and he has a 2.5tog bag and blankets

He does seem cosy every morning though

    I may order a 2.5 and a 4

    Re: What tog toddler duvet?

DD is in a bed with a duvet, but refuses to give up her bag. So, in this cold weather, she's in a winter bag with a summer duvet (4 tog I think) but I plan to phase out the bag this summer when the duvet alone will be warm enough.

DS is now in a 10 tog duvet, he uses the same tog as adults basically. But both of them are in full size single beds, so have the option of all single duvets; I guess your DS is in a toddler bed, not that it should make any difference when it comes to togs.

Adult duvets and toddler/baby bags are very different when it comes to togs, they can't be compared.

You're not supposed to put a duvet over a Grobag are you?

No you're not meant to, but mine won't sleep without her bag and the duvet only goes over her legs, am trying to wean her off the bag. She's nearly 3 and in a big bed, wouldn't have used both in a cot or toddler bed, or in warmer weather. Seeing as she slept sitting up for months, I'm just grateful that she lies down now - and we live in an old, cold house.
