Psychic Damsels- I got a little gift

I was told just before Christmas that I would find something on the floor that would help me. That morning, on my home office floor I found a clothing label that I swear I had never seen before. It was a vintage label that said 'Barbarella London' on it. I googled Barbarella London but nothing jumped out at me. A few days after Christmas it was still puzzling me so I searched for 'Barbarella' only. Of course the film came up so I looked at the Wiki plot summary (bonkers film btw!).

As I read the plot summary, I was drawn to the word "MATHMOS". I kept saying it over & over again. Mathmos being the company that designed the Lava Lamp. I was told to look for my old Lava Lamp in the loft. I touched boxes until I got a YES. Almost the first thing I saw when I opened it was a Vocal Exercise tape that I have been looking for for YEARS!

When I started up our choir over 3 years ago I wanted to transfer this exercise tape from my singing teacher, onto CDs for my choir members so they can warm up. Now I've found it, I just need a tape-MP3 converter & it will help me & my choir!!

How amazing is that?!

Sorry Pikes, but I'm with Lizard King on this one. Those spirits are pesky things, aren't they, doing things in such a roundabout way?

To me, of course, it is coincidence. Or not even that - just chance. I found something in the loft the other day when I had gone to look for something else. I reckon that happens to people fairly often actually...

I'd be dead pissed off with the spirit for sending me on a wild goose chase and not just telling me where the tape was in the first place! Or putting it on the home office floor instead of a random clothing label!

I think spirit are trying to tell you to go to a Duran Duran gig, in their own roundabout way.

Sorry Pikey I'm a great believer in all of this but that sounds terribly like clutching at straws to me.

Awww hun, if YOU feel like its amazing, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks.

We all think things that other people think are bollocks or do things in a way others think are lunacy. Don't let others opinions cloud any positive feelings you have.

People will always have an opinion but how you react to them and how you allow them to make you feel is entirely up to you

I like hearing how things are going, perhaps those who don't believe could have some respect and not post on your thread.

I agree with baggy.
I thought this part of damsels was for discussing spirituality- if theres a high chance a post about personal belief is only going to be mocked then what's the point in having this section?

Thank you Baggy, Helski & Cheeky Biscuit I appreciate your comments. I do feel very positive about my experiences & it is hard to read negativity but it doesn't deter me. I KNOW what I know. I was trying to remain positive by not pointing out that some of the comments are rather scathing. I came here for support in the Spiritual forum. The post title was also directed toward Psychic Damsels as I thought they might understand.

My 'spirituality' is very new to me & I'm discovering new things every day. My mind & heart are opening to literally a new World. When I said I was told I would find something on the floor, I meant that one of my guides told me- not a medium or psychic. So much has happened since I last posted but again- the response was so negative that I haven't felt confident enough to post. I thought I'd try with something simple like this one & I get sniggered at.

I have met 8 guides including my Guardian Angel, I have had regular visits from several Archangels, I have spoken to my Step-Father & my Grand Father & I've found out about my past 2 lives. So read & have a good giggle but please keep it to yourself. If anyone would like to know more I'd be happy to share it as I'm on such a LIFE high, the doubters can't knock me down.

Wow Pikey, it sounds like you are really experiencing a major change in your outlook and life. It sounds like you are getting a lot of positives from it all which can only be a good thing. I'm not particularly a believer (although neither am I a total sceptic) but it sounds fascinating and I do think it's a shame that you feel you've been laughed at on a board which should be for sharing these things.
