We were just discussing this and we decided we still want to do this! Other people will give him stuff though of course, and his birthday is shortly after.

DS is always looking at websites that show you a simple method of drawing things. I got a little case of three 'how to draw' books for £1.50 in Asda today. They had quite a few books reduced at the end of the book aisle.

That Star Wars set is good value as it contains so many figures. My DS bought it in January. It seems to be reduced almost constantly.

I've just cancelled these. DS was browsing Amazon and doesn't like these ones. Back to the drawing board.

Oh well, I've just bought them Chell so Thanks from us!

They aren't as good as 'normal' lego, DS2 got one for his birthday, the bits snap together and aren't really lego IMO ... but I figure one each in their stockings might be a handy time consumer, and they might actually play with them if they have 3 figures (they don't fall apart quite as easily as lego does)

Am going to try hard not to buy lego this christmas ...

Samba, he has been looking at them for a while. Last night at a party he played with a huge box of them. He was counting his pocket money to try to buy one. Just seems he is particular which ones.

My son loves Hero Factory Chell. They have instructions online to make hybrids from different sets. Plays with them all day!

They have the Roald Dahl set (15 books) in at The Book People for £15.99 free delivery, just ordered a set for DS. x

The RD set is fab. I got my daughter it for her birthday. Her brother has read most of them too.
