Will you be watching Gordon Ramsay's Live Cookalong on Christmas Day?
I'm not a big fan, or even a little fan
of GR. But I think that having a live cooking show, with various guests dropping in, for three hours on Christmas morning is a genius idea. I will definitely be putting it on for a bit.
I reckon it's such a good idea that the BBC and/or ITV will do something similar next year

I thought he was supposed to be having Christmas with the Beckhams

I think it's a great idea in principle but doubt I'll be watching slavishly

I know how to cook Christmas dinner, I've been doing it for years. And I'll have guests ...

If I thought I'd be allowed to touch the remote I'd watch it but not a chance!

I quite like him

I did his first cookalong and really enjoyed it. I haven't done any since but did pick up some good tips first time round and still use them. I won't be watching tomorrow, too busy (not cooking though
)

Re: Will you be watching Gordon Ramsay's Live Cookalong on Christmas Day?
But it's not really about learning how to cook, is it? It's about a live event, rather than recorded, with people actually there. I think it will be great for a lot of people who don't have guests themselves (we do but I will still be watching a bit), and it's great "event" TV. When you know a programme is recorded, like Jools Holland's Hogmanay, it's not the same is it?
