Re: What's on your cooking schedule for today?

Nigella's Irish Blue Biscuits - for Chell!

175g blue cheese crumbled - I used Blue Shropshire
    100g butter - softened
    1 egg yolk
    125g plain flour
50g blue cornmeal - I used more plain flour

Mix everything together to make a soft dough then chill for 30 mins in the fridge

Roll out to 5mm and cut out - I did stars

Place on trays and bake at 200oC for 10-15mins then cool and eat!

They don't spread very much so you can put them fairly close together.

Thanks, Help! It's actually feeling a lot better now it has a big crusty blister over it! I have now managed to dip the chocolates and used the leftover chocolate to test out my new chocolate mouse moulds. Isabella is also wearing what was left in the bowl.

I think I have used the word "chocolate" too much now, it has stopped making any sense!

I made a sausage casserole for lunch and cheese on toast for the kid's tea. Just about to go to the pub for our dinner, we have a (free)babysitter!
