Re: Dieting in 2012?
Me too! I'll be doing WW online. Anyone had success with that? I'll also be breastfeeding at the same time so need to allow calories. Need to lose about two stone I reckon
Merry Christmas everyone before the dieting begins :-)

Re: Dieting in 2012?
I will be on SW in January along with DH, when all the Christmas food is eaten
I am oddly looking forward to it. Wont be joining as cant afford it, but got the books from a friend, I buy the mags, read the forums and just follow it. Cant wait to get all slim and wobble free again

Re: Dieting in 2012?
I will be starting my usual diet in January along with most of you! I was 18 stone two years ago and have managed to get it to somewhere between 13 and 14. Next year I want to finally shift the last couple of stone and get to the top end of my BMI which will be 12 stone. Like others have said, I am almost looking forward to getting to January for my detox.
I'll still enjoy stuffing lots of food up to then though

My website - blog, info and lots of pictures!

Re: Dieting in 2012?
Me! After dieting in fits and starts this year (more fits to be honest
), I am now bigger than I've ever been and am just going to get bigger and bigger unless I do something about it. I will be joining WW, prob in the week of the 9th when the kids go back to school/I go back to college, although may join next week if all the Christmas food has been eaten by then!

Re: Dieting in 2012?
Well, a nice bout of winter vomiting bug yesterday has got me off to a good start!
But seriously, I'm going to spend the next week or so getting my head round the new Filling and Healthy bit of WW- being a helper in the meeting means I got given all the new gumf early. And then Declan starts playgroup 2 mornings a week, so absolutely no excuse for missing the gym.

Re: Dieting in 2012?
I've done a lot of thinking and investigating. I've already started as of today. I can't follow WW or SW as for me I lost loads when going to WW but I can only go about once every 6 weeks due to work committments and children etc. So I'm going to 'join' with my mum in terms of just trying to eat much less and I'm going to turn on the Wii fit tonight and set it up (as it was being used by the kids and not me) use that to movitate me to lose the weight. I'm going to aim to get to 9 st for the summer. So 2 st to lose. I'm going to track it on my calender. I simply can't go on 'WW' or I'll just put it all back on when I've finished. I've got Joanna Hall's weight loss bible and I'm going to measure everything on 1st Jan and track everything but I've already started as I shared a lunch with my Mum -rather than having my own. If I want a chocolate bar -I'm going to just eat half. and put the other half in fridge etc. I hope I have the motivatition -but this time I do feel strangely confident.
