Thrush in a 3yr old? Sorry TMI

I think DD2 who is 3 may have thrush. She has had an itchy bum and for a few days she keeps getting very wet underwear, Ive had to change her knickers about 4 times today. When i looked, it was like mucous on her underwear and in her vagina. She is seeing the GP tomorrow, but ive never seen thrush at such a young age. Does it sound like thrush to you?

    Im a bit worried x

Couldn't say about thrush, I suppose it's possible but I'd be considering worms as an option (esp if she's at nursery etc).

Can you see any worms in her poo/if you look at her bum?

Worth getting the dr to check out if not.

I'm also thinking worms See here. Treat the whole family - you can buy the stuff OTC.

Another one who is going to say worms.

Quick trip to the chemist for some Ovex, and all sorted.

Yes, I would also say worms. Make sure you treat the whole family and wash all bedding and towels and it is easily sorted.

And hoover and damp dust the bedrooms, get her to wear knickers in bed for a week to stop her itching and re infesting herself.
