Toy dogs - any recommendations?
DD is absolutely desperate for a toy dog for Christmas (well tbh, she'd like a real one but knows that's not happening) and has been for about 2 years now

I hate them and think they are a waste of money
but she is so keen I'm debating giving in
Has anyone's LO got one? If so, which one and would you recommend it? I was looking at these two:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Animagic-Ben...1394214&sr=1-7
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-3409.aspx
I think I prefer the first one
Help!

Re: Toy dogs - any recommendations?
I defnitely prefer the first one too - but holy hell the price
But if it is what she wants more than anything then I guess she'll play with it a lot and you'll get your money's worth
Cookie is nauseatingly cute
(sorry
)

Re: Toy dogs - any recommendations?
Cool, that lessens the pain of shelling out for a fake dog then
I'm sure she will love it, I know C would

The first one is lovely!
Have you seen the horrendous one on Nick Jn? It poops itself.
The crap they advertise between programmes is the worst tut I have ever seen!

No, I haven't Claire, and thankfully neither has DD!
Time for a switch to CBeebies/Cbbc until January

Re: Toy dogs - any recommendations?
I can't get over how much these dogs cost
But if you can get it on a deal with your Tesco vouchers, go for it. I like the first one best

Ummm I know it doesn't bark etc but Ikea have a lovely cuddly soft toy puppy at the moment and you can buy coats, bowl, bed, crate etc for it. We are thinking about getting for my SD and the whole kit costs about £30

If you can get hold of one, I would definitely recommend it!

Re: Toy dogs - any recommendations?
Em is obsessed with that Cookie one... she is so not getting it
She was constantly patting in and saying 'mine' in Toys R Us at the weekend, and it is on a advert too so she shouts 'Iwantdat' and pats the TV (wonder where she learned THAT from
)
We 'might' get her this one - http://www.johnlewis.com/231050234/Product.aspxJedi Boy is 6, the Little Princess is 3....
