    Toy dogs - any recommendations?

DD is absolutely desperate for a toy dog for Christmas (well tbh, she'd like a real one but knows that's not happening) and has been for about 2 years now

I hate them and think they are a waste of money but she is so keen I'm debating giving in

Has anyone's LO got one? If so, which one and would you recommend it? I was looking at these two:

    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-3409.aspx

I think I prefer the first one

    Help!

I defnitely prefer the first one too - but holy hell the price But if it is what she wants more than anything then I guess she'll play with it a lot and you'll get your money's worth

Cookie is nauseatingly cute (sorry )

Cool, that lessens the pain of shelling out for a fake dog then I'm sure she will love it, I know C would

    The first one is lovely!

Have you seen the horrendous one on Nick Jn? It poops itself.

The crap they advertise between programmes is the worst tut I have ever seen!

No, I haven't Claire, and thankfully neither has DD!

I can't get over how much these dogs cost But if you can get it on a deal with your Tesco vouchers, go for it. I like the first one best

Ummm I know it doesn't bark etc but Ikea have a lovely cuddly soft toy puppy at the moment and you can buy coats, bowl, bed, crate etc for it. We are thinking about getting for my SD and the whole kit costs about £30
