    Re: So, so tired : - (

    Thanks Jelly.

Well we had a better day yesterday, DD was chirpier and I took her out in the afternoon to a lovely river, we saw a heron, lots of wildlife, she fell in cow poo. We laughed. Much good time was had.

We then came back and watched Junior bakeoff cuddled up on the sofa. Warm cuddly times.

She was eating her dinner and there was a loud knock at the door, 16 year old boy stood there saying that his mum had just run over our cat : - (

My DH went with them and brought her back, she looked just awful, I put a towel under the radiator and we put her on there, I put my arms round her and she looked at me as I spoke to her and she definitely knew it was me, she held on to my arm like life support : - (

We called the emergency vet and they met DH at the vets in an ambulance and said she'd broken a leg (at least) and they would operate immediately. I can't tell you how much we've all cried, even DH was sobbing and he is one hard nut. DH and me jokingly call her our first born, she sleeps with us at night, her and DD are the best things that have happened to us. No news yet, so hoping thats positive, it something bad had happened they would have called us I'm sure.

DD was fine this morning, off to school, I'm getting on with some work projects, DH is working here too, so hopefully we can go and see Milly later.

Thanks Damz, I'm sure she'll be fine, maybe with just 6 lives left. I'm so suprised she wasn't put down straight away as she had some fur missing from her head and was rolling her eyes and doing this awful stretching thing with her mouth (probably feline version of hyperventilating).

    Thanks Jelly.

Helpimfalling - yes you can certainly try meditation at home, without a class. I did go to classes for a few years (they were Buddhist meditation classes, so some teachings as well as meditation, but that suits me well) and now I just practise at home. I also teach a few local ladies when I can.

I would recommend the Meditation for Dummies as a starting block, it comes with a CD, which is fairly useful.
