Re: Anyone fancy cycling London at night for Camille's Appeal?
Consider yourselves lucky

Well, I've done the Monopoly pub crawl before. No reason we couldn't do it for charideee mate!
Absolutely. I'm virtually incapable of riding a bike but was willing to give it a shot. Unfortunately/fortunately Mr Squeaker was positively euphoric at the idea of cycling round London for Camille's Appeal that we thought it best to only take up one of the CA spots while, hopefully, raising the same money we would have done had both of us ridden.
Great minds again Mrs!

My DH would be interested in doing this, he has done London to Brighton two years in a row so is capable of doing it. Would he need to pay the £100 entry fee?

No Angel Cake, he would need to try to raise £225 in sponsorship though - he'll have 8 months to raise it xx

Thanks CL, I've emailed him! I think he's worried about not being able to raise the £225 but I'm going to try and convince him :)

It is £30 odd to register for one of the charity places, and then you have the sponsorship to raise. I did initially wonder whether we could refund people's entry fees in return for them raising the required amount of sponsorship. However, it appears that there are rules regarding this and being able to claim Gift Aid, so it's not something that the charity could commit to at the moment, I need to do some research.
