Why does it cost £30 to chane address?
Hi just need to have a bit of a rant
Just got the post and my new car insurance details have come through, had to change my address. They have charged me £30 to enter a new address into the system and post me out a copy it's a five minute job I don't understand how these companies get away with it.

Its is it costs a fortune to insure a car in the first place without adding more on!!

Are you sure it's just for changing your details on their system and not because you've changed location? My insurance went up when I moved 2 miles down the road, into an area where there was more car crimes.

No my premium has gone down now I've moved it was just for admin charges
