Re: Those of you who charted..
With my first pg, I charted for 6 months and I think I had 4 cycles in that time. It did help to see when I was ov'ing, as I had long, irregular cycles. I usually knew when AF would arrive and it stopped me doing squillions of tests during longer cycles... It seemed to stress DH more than me.
Second time round, I was much more laid back. Didn't go back on the pill in the gap between children, cycles became more regular and kept notes of when I saw OV signs. So by the time we ttc no.2, I had a fair idea of when I would OV so I didn't bother with proper charting.
Both times took 8-9 months to conceive.
Good luck

I did but it was back when you could get lifetime membership for about £30. Worth it though.

Re: Those of you who charted..
I charted for a while with M and Z, but only because I was having acupuncture and the woman recommended doing it for a couple of months. My consultant said not to chart as he felt it added unnecessary stress, as Bop says.
M and Z were eventually conceived after 6 failed attempts at IUI and one round of IVF four years after first starting TTC. We were classed as 'unexplained infertility'.
R (4 weeks old) was conceived the only time we managed to DTD between bouts of illness from me, Mr S and the twins - go figure!
