Recommend me some good pull-back cars as stocking fillers!

Or 'noise cars', as Max prefers to call them

Whenever we go to toddler groups, Max spends a lot of time pushing little cars around the room, and we thought it'd be nice to get a few as stocking-fillers this year. He still tends to shove things in his mouth, so anything that'd withstand drool would be good!

The cars that you can pull back and let go are his 'thing' at the moment, as they make a noise if you just push them without releasing them.

Max is obsessed too with the exact sort

He has one that my gran got from charity which is a big pickup with big wheels and he loves it zooms around with it

I initially thought was too old for him but I eat my words!

    Ill be watching this thread

Not quite what you are after, but the bob the builder range of toy vehicles are very good. They are friction powered so push them a little, and they go a long way.

Also the small cars we have at work (Children's Centre) are from Smoby's Vroom Planet. We've buy big nursery packs of 50 vehicles, but I managed to get some from Wilkinsons a couple of years ago. They are very durable and dribble proof. Esp if they are used outside in the sandpit/dirt. I love them. Good for stocking fillers!

They're maybe a bit expensive as stocking fillers, but he played with some at nursery when they had an open day and loved them, so maybe as a bigger present - both love Bob the Builder.

These look really good - I'll see if I can hunt out some packs.

Thanks - just won a bundle of 6 assorted ones including some Smoby ones on eBay so we're going with those instead. The ELC deal sounds good, though!
