Children's forums
DD1 is desperate to chat on a site like Damsels!!
She is nearly 12 and I can see why, but I am also a little concerned unless it was a child specific forum (and even then how would it be regualted?).
So does anyone know of such forums? She did find a kids only section of a horse forum but they're not allowing more children to become members atm. Facebook is also out for now.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Children's forums
My Dd used facebook, but only under strict conrol on my part. No-one could request to become her friend, and I was able to keep control over who she was talking to. She used Tumblr alot now.

Re: Children's forums
Facebook is out so that's not an option.
What's tumblr - is that a forum or social networking / chat site? I really want a forum type environment.

Re: Children's forums
Do her friends go on a particular forum? What about Moshi Monsters? Or is that site too young for her?

Re: Children's forums
I was a member of a guinea pig forum that had a lot of younger members. No kids section but a general chat area that was well used by all ages. Does she have any pets or hobbies that might have similar forums?
