These new ads are FREAKING me out!
I think I need to wear a tinfoil hat
.
Every time I am looking for something (eg atm I want a Radley wallet for my babysitter who will be leaving us after 7 years
) the freaking thing pops up in the ad!
Yesterday it was a dress from Matches I was lusting after.
The other week it was the Raleigh bike that I was checking out.
FREAKARAMA!

Is this happening to anyone else?

Re: These new ads are FREAKING me out!
Yes, have noticed similar.
Today i ordered a new mirror from John Lewis and also did a search for the contact details of my dad's consultant.
I have just logged on here and an advert popped up for John Lewis followed by one for 'Ask a doctor'.
I'm guessing their must be some whizzy thingmyjig on the site that pops up adverts relating to recent internet searches. I can't believe it is coincidence.
I've also noticed that the adverts tend to relate to the thread i am reading at times.

Yep it's intellectual advertising. Very clever

Re: These new ads are FREAKING me out!
I'm slightly more freaked by the unpredictable positioning of them tbh. They're always vaguely at the top of the page but they tend to be layered under other bits of the layout, and only partially visible.
