How old were your babies before they slept in their cot at night?

Miss E was 12 weeks, she was a noisy little monkey so had to go in her own room, so thus in the cot! Serena on the other hand was still in her moses basket, in our room, at 9 months!! I just felt like I could not let her go in her own room!

DD was 5 weeks - she was a noisy sleeper and we all got much more sleep when she was in her own cot.

DS was about 6 months old - although he still slept in his crib next to me at times until he was 14 months old

We put M and Z in their cots just after they turned 6 months, but they were tiny and only just starting to look big in their Moses baskets at that point. They slept fine in them from the very start.

Alice also sleeps well in her cot during the day, and we've started putting her to bed there in the evenings too. But we still bring her up to our room when we're going to bed, give her her last bottle and she then sleeps in the moses basket. She sleeps through the night but is in a light sleep from maybe 5-6am, waking if her hands escape from being swaddled, so I need to settle her back to sleep with her soother. Our room is up on the third floor, so I couldn't be bothered going up and down to put the soother back in, so for now I'm happy for her to stay with us! When she is consistently staying asleep until 7 or 8am, we'll consider putting her in the cot all night.
