Waterproofing spray for handbags?
I've noticed this has been mentioned on a couple of threads. I was given this bag in tan for my birthday (I love it, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, though
) and I want to spray it before I use it - what do you recommend, and where can I get it? (would prefer an actual shop rather than mail order).
I can't believe I don't know this sort of thing already
TIA

Re: Waterproofing spray for handbags?
Clarks, Russell & Bromley and John Lewis all sell leather protector sprays and they work well on regular, treated leather bags.
Mulberry bags tend to be untreated leather (so very porous) and Collonil is recommended. I would use Collonil on all leather products but that's just because I have loads of the stuff already
Any leather protector spray should be fine
ETA On such a light coloured bag, I'd give it a few generous coats of the spray, leaving the bag hanging overnight to dry between each spraying.
