Re: May 2011 - what have you bought this month?

Oh cute Dita!! I love that dress Jayne - really liking that length atm - it's so surprisingly flattering on and very easy to wear.

Well my Gap Impressionist dress arrived yesterday and I love it! Got an email half an hour after the delivery to say it had been reduced to £19 so hotfooted it into town this morning... returned the online purchase and got it for £19 - also switched to a smaller size as it comes up quite big. I'd ordered the medium and it was fine, but would def have stretched and then not been fine iykwim My John Rocha tan leather wedges also arrived yesterday and they look great with the dress, though are higher than I remembered - 4.5" and I'm just not sure if I can cope! Anyone found 3"-3.5" tan wedges by any chance???

I'm a bit stupidly excited about wearing my new dress - it's soooo soft and comfy and 'easy' to wear in a really relaxed way, yet still quite sexy. Can also be ruched up as a long top I'm tempted to get it in the black too!

The scarf in deeper version of the print is also lovely.

Also got this white tee, reduced to £4.99

Thanks girls. I feel like a giddy small child - ironically, as it's the most grown up dress I've ever owned! The neckline is quite a bit lower than the pic - model must have it pushed back. Can also be worn off the shoulder - as the night wears on PMSL

Bargin on the dress Sparkly. I know exactly what you mean about easy to wear. Its so nice when you have something you can just chuck on and feel fab in without having to worry about showing too much, holding your tummy in or looking scruffy.

I *totally* agree! My Witchery stuff was either on sale (maxi and the kids' t shirts) or had 30% off on a special promotion (squeak squeak). Icebreaker is FLIPPING expensive - probably not much different to what it is here, or perhaps even dearer .

    Love those wedges!

sparkly, that dress is just . I am VERY tempted!

Not so keen on linen though tbh , just as well, I'd have been in like a shot, I have some vouchers burning a hole in my wallet

Ahh - just go try it on. I didn't actually realise it was linen til I read the description - it's not crinkly linen iykwim - more like lovely crisp cotton. :enablesmiley: It is just so light and pretty irl and looks much more expensive. Do it, do it!
