me again! what do you scrub your carpets with?

me again(can you tell im spring cleaning everything!)

our stair carpets have little stains on etc, I have always in the past bypassed the carpet cleaning creams /sprays as Ive always found washing powder and warm water work... what do you sue to actually do it? Ive used a harder little hand brush today but doesnt get ' right in there'

    thanks xx

I would steer away from scrubbing - would imagine it would damage the fibres in the carpet. A steam cleaner is fab - you can hire them from the dry cleaners x

Yes, I often go around after having the carpets fully cleaned and get more up as you can really scrub it.

maxi that seems the more sensible option, def cant afford to replace the carpets!

We bought a bottle of carpet cleaner from Poundland for these sort of marks. First bought it years ago and have been using same thing ever since. it foams up a bit, we rub the area with a regular dishwashing sponge. Sponge side obv. Cleans up spots like a dream
