Do I get rid of the bed or not???

I have DD's old single bed in Ryan's room, taking up lots of space which he could play in so I've been thinking about freecycling it as i'm hankering after an Ikea toddler bed for him (would fit in the the little inshot his cot is in just now so would give him more space than a full-sized bed) Had an email this avo through freecycle - someone looking for 2 single beds - i'm tempted to reply but I still feel guilty at giving away a perfectly good bed which he *could* use albeit taking away some of his playing space because of the layout of his room.

Gawd i'm soooo rubbish at making decisions

Freecycle is fab! I got rid of loads of bags full of story tapes and books this week. We had way too many and theyve gone to a really good home ( and saved me having to lug them to the charity shop :wik: )

I'd get shot of it. Play space is mega important IMO ( and if he's got space to play in his room it'll give you 10 mins every now and then to put your feet up :D

Just now he only has a strip of floor about 2ft wide and the length of the bed to play in so he tends to try to play in his sisters room then gets into trouble from her for going in there and making a mess He's also managed to push several toys under the bed and there isn't enough space in the room to pull the bed out to pick them up

Will check with DH when he gets home tomorrow night - not that he'll have an opinion on the matter but at least I gave him the opportunity to save money on buying a new bed!

I'd get rid of it too - you can always ask for one on freecycle when you need it. When Iona grows out of her cot we're going to get an extendable bed as her room is tiny.

I LOVE freecycle - Kyle & Iona now have a playhouse and Kyle has a bike and loads of action men thanks to it!
