I don't think there are as many of us now, but I just thought I'd share it incase any one gets caught out.

I saw it on another forum;

You get this email

Hi

Can you give me a call. I am looking for a wedding cake.

Apparently, the 070 number is a re-directed premium rate number.

070 numbers are called 'personal numbers' and they're not a mobile number. They are legal (they werent introduced for scammers to use! Something to do with call redirection i think) and the owner can charge rates for calling them, I'm not sure if there's an upper limit, but like Abbie says it's effectively a premuim rate number.
