Re: What's cooking this week 2nd Jan ?
Have a look at the thread I started bluestar, I really want to make the effort to cook some new recipes.
I've raided my new Leon Book 2 and Giraffe cookbooks and this week we'll be eating:
- Miso lime salmon with wasabi rice and asparagus
- Marrakech sea bass, herby green onion mash and cherry tomato salad
- Teriyake beef steak with asparagus and green onions
- Turkey breast fillets with sage, lemon and pine nut pesto
I'm away for two nights so DH will be living off the supplies of leftovers in the fridge and freezer.

Yes I want a look at that as well
We are having...
Homemade pizzas cause I've got loads of nice meats like parma ham etc to us up
Jerk pork done on the bbq with roast veg couscous
Spicy sausage pasta
Ginger prawn noodles with spring onion salad
Not sure what else yet, will have to raid the freezer and see what we have to use up.

Re: What's cooking this week 2nd Jan ?
Fajitas and accompaniments + rice or salad - can't decide
Split pea and frankfurter soup, warm rolls
Chicken or salmon wrapped in parma ham/salad and roasted pesto baby potatoes
Chilli and rice
Chilli and jacket potato
Low fat (
) carbonara, garlic ciabatta
Salmon and ratatouille
I'll never manage to make everything, as no doubt life will get in the way and our local pub is fab for meals but it's a start!

Re: What's cooking this week 2nd Jan ?
We had tandoori chicken with baked pots, garlic button mushrooms and salad today. May risk a roast chicken tomorrow - haven't had a traditional roast dinner since Xmas.
