Katkinn did you do your Pie Dinner Party?
Nosey question really - sorry! Just wondered if you did your Pie Dinner Party and if so which ones you did and how it went?
At the risk of sounding stalkerish (I'm not really I promise) but I have 8 friends coming for dinner shortly and a similar (although not quite so complicated) list of dietry requirements. I was thinking of shamelessly pinching your idea and doing a curried fish pie and a steak and ale type pie - both with puff pastry lids.

Re: Katkinn did you do your Pie Dinner Party?
In the end no I didn't! I did do the beef bourginon but without the topping (the recipe is actually a pie and it's delish) and potatoes dauphinoise and a green bean salad. I then just did a salmon fillet steamed in the oven for my veggie!
Roasted cherry tomato and onion soup for starter, White chocolate parfait with raspberries and a cheese board for afters.
Went down v well!

Re: Katkinn did you do your Pie Dinner Party?
Sounds yummy!!
Think I may trial the pie idea
I don't do starters I'm afraid, unless I can claim Olives as a starter
(too lazy and disorganised) but think I'll go for the 2 pies (although ditehring whether to do a curried fish pie or just a normal one - am erring towards curried) with a dauphinoise and either buttered leeks and greens or green beans in tomatoes or maybe both. With creme brulees and then cheese ...
