I thought I'd start a new thread as the old one seems to have disappeared with all changes over the past few months and tonight in particular there seems to be a need for prayers.....

I know Martin and Hayley do not share my faith, but still I pray for Camille that her operation will go miraculously well and that she will be around fully enjoying life in twenty years time. I pray for the surgeons and the nurses that they will have wisdom, love and courage as they look after Camille. I pray for those supporting the family that they will be be able to provide for all their needs. I pray for Lucia that she will cope with the disruption to family life that Camille's illness inevitably brings and settle well at school.

I also pray for Rosebud's friend's baby - that she will pull through and again by around fully enjoying life in twenty years time.

I pray also for BrokenFairy's SIL that she will be able to take a new path and be healed of her current addictions and be able to be a good enough parent to her children.

I'm sure there are more.......

Aw Bop - I'm not Christian but that was a beautiful post.

I agree with every word you've written there Bob, and on Sunday I will ask our Reverend to ask the congregation to say a mass prayer for Camille.
I truly believe prayers help, and have seen evidence of it several times over the years.

Thank you Bop. I believe in prayer and positive thinking. I think Martin has seen too much devastation, not just Camille, but other Oncology children to have any belief. I will take every prayer very gratefully xxxx
