Will Rich Tea biscuits be OK for a Banofee Pie base?

    Oops!

I have just crushed a whole packet of rich tea, thinking they were digestives

Will these do the trick for a banofee pie base, or should I use digestives?...........

I probably wouldn't actually I think they run the risk of going a bit soggy as they are much finer than digestives. Am racking my brain to think of a use for crushed rich tea bics!

I agree with fifitrix, I would be quite disappointed to dive into my biscuit base and find rich tea instead of buttery digestives which I think are much richer than rich tea?

    Reporting back...

You were right Nics, it didn't quite bind as well as digestives, not a disaster but could have been better.

    A mistake I won't make again!

    Thanks again for your advice
