Help! I've lost my "Cooking for baby" mojo
Whole of last week and this week DS has been having ready made baby food.
I did cook for him before and enjoyed it but since we got back from our long hols, I have been using up the frozen ones and then relying on the ready made food.
I dont mind it if its once in a while but its proving expensive too.
I'd like to cook some high calorie food for him as he only eats a little.
So can you share your easy / tasty recipes pls?
I do have the AK book but not inspiring enough
Thanks.

Re: Help! I've lost my "Cooking for baby" mojo
I've got a freezer full of left-overs for Sam. We all eat together as a family maybe 4 nights a week, and I freeze leftover portions for Sam to eat on the other nights and occasionally for lunches. I can post recipes for any of them if you want. At the moment I've got:
spaghetti/pasta bolognaise
chinesey pork mince and noodles
chunky beef chilli and rice
beef and veg curry with apricot rice (made with coconut milk)
lamb tagine with butternut squash couscous
moroccan beans with couscous
carrot and lentil soup (made with coconut milk)
turkey curry and rice
shepherds pie (with egg yolk in the mash)
salmon, spinach and peas in tomato sauce with pasta
chicken casserole and mash
I also often make sweet potato and spinach frittata for Sam (as eggs are reasonably high calorie) and add mayo to sandwiches etc.

Waxy, can I be your baby please
how fab are those meals
I've not made anything that nice for DS!
Do you make those for yourselves snd then save for Sam?
Are they all same as adult recipies? If so I can get them online I guess?
Thanks x
