What did you buy your kids teachers in the end?

I went for an unusual but pretty looking plant for DS1's teacher and TA. They've been sat in my kitchen for a week and I havent yet killed them which is a miracle!

I also bought them a massive lollipop each, think fairground/beach holiday rock style lollipop, as DS1 always sings that computer advert to them. 'Lollipop lollipop, ooh lolly, lolly, lollipop...'. The teacher wrote in his report that she will miss him seranading her everyday so I thought it would be bit of a jokey but cute thing.

For the teacher and TA of the adjoining Reception class, DS1 has the teacher for his reading group, I got a Me to You box of honeycomb chocolates. Couldnt be bothered by then.

I got C nursery teachers, a card and a couple of boxes of Toffifees. Not very original but needed something quick to get.

I got DS2's teacher and TA a necklace from Next (in the sale) and for DS1's nursery teacher and assistant as he is going back next year I got them some nice cakes xxx

We had a whip round for DSs 2 teachers and got them a voucher. He's also giving his 2 TAs a bottle of wine each. DDs 2 teachers are also having a bottle of wine each.

I did a whip round for both Year 1 and year 3 teachers. Got Monsoon Vouchers for both plus the girls are taking in a box of chocs.

For dance teacher I got a lovely Sunflower patio plant - she loved it!!!

I got C's teacher and TA a small Yankee candle each Probably a bit much pricewise but I was pushed for time this week and it was the easiest thing to grab whilst in the card shop.

My fave pressie as a teacher so far was a £10 starbucks card. i know not everyone loves the coffee chains but i do hangout there with dd eating choc brownies so it's perfect! the accompanying card was sooooo touching as well I shall be keeping it in my special cards folder (which has all the loveliest cards from the past 8 years).
