Swimming
Took the boys swimming this afternoon and OMG I'm suprised no-one called social services, they are both covered in bruises!
DS1's legs from the knees down are just black and blue (the joy of wearing shorts to school), he also bashed his side against the door knob last week and thats a real beauty.
O's legs are as bad - he also has an egg on his forehead from tripping out of the sandpit.

Re: Swimming
Mine are the same. One came in last night with his shirt ripped, one shoe missing as he fell out a tree. They were all filthy and the bath was black! Better than being wrapped up in cotton wool though.

Re: Swimming
The last time we saw the HV for DS three year check he had 73 bruises, a bashed up nose, cheek, chin and wobble tooth from falling onto his best friends head and a broken finger!!! She put it all down in his red book as unusual amount of injures!

I took some photos of Ben, in the bath, tonight and was just uploading them and remarking on the huge number of bruises, grazes and bumps you can see. He looks like he's been wrestling with crocodiles (and my bathroom really needs re-grouting!).
