Legoland - will I need Qbot?

We are going to Legoland on Friday 11th June, do you think we will need to buy Qbots? Two adults and one nearly 4 year old?

is tha the thing that lets you go to the front of queues?

My friend went a few weeks ago and they decided not to pay the extra for that, as you could only virtually queue for one ride at a time. They said it was really busy though, this was easter i think. x

Like applejack said you can only queue for one ride at a time and it gives you a time to go back. When you get off that you can then choose to queue for another ride. There's stuff to do in between or course, but having done it with and without, i don't know if it makes your day all that different... That said, a lot of the rides suitable for four year olds won't be covered by the queue bot!

Re: Legoland - will I need Qbot?

When we went last summer we didn't get to go on any of the 'big' rides as the queues were an hour minimum for each one and there's no way SS and my nephew would have lasted that long.

So I did feel that they missed out a lot by not having one, but that was August and it's probably nowhere near as busy outside of the school hols.

    How tall is your 4yo?

A lot of the legoland height restrictions change around this age - lots of things they have to be 0.9m to get on, and a few 1.0m, It tends to be those rides with the queues, so if your child isn't going to be able to get on them anyway, it's not worthwhile.

I think you can pick up a Qbot midway through the park as well as at the start (ie in lego city, last year at least they were selling them at a stall there). So you could get in, take a view about queues as you go past and pick a Qbot up if you need it.

They're not cheap mind you. £10 per person.

wise words Red, sounds like the best idea. Ava is 108cm so am hoping we get to go on a few more exciting rides.

You can always ask at The Beginning (which is where the official qbot shop is) if they are running another shop anywhere in the park.

Another Word To The Wise (though more useful at weekends or school hols when it's really busy) is to go round the park backwards, ie start bottom left and go clockwise. Because one of the biggest rides is bottom right, a lot of people start there and go anticlockwise so you miss a bit of the crowds by going against the traffic, as it were.

I'd definitely agree it would be best to get in and have a look at the queues first. We went last Sunday and it was a bit rainy on and off, and the queues were really short. You can generally tell by how full the car parks are. We also went in the Easter holidays on a sunny day and they were parking cars on the verges as the car park was full.
