What about this jumper?

Didds, how tall are you and what size clothes do you wear, because I bet you COULD wear skinnies. As long as the top is quite long (which that jumper is) it would look good.
A tip (I'm 5 ft 6, so not especially tall and a size 12, so not especially slim) is to wear skinnies with high heeled boots or shoes UNDER the jeans which really elongates your legs. I've got a pair of ankle boots which work and a GREAT pair of high, pointy leopard print shoes which I wore with my skinnies at the weekend and felt fab in.

Thanks for the advice flipflop. I'm 5'10 and a size 14 (but am now back on WW so might be back in a 12 by Christmas!), so I'm reasonably slim but pearshaped, and my bum always looks huge in jeans, whatever style they are.

You could be right though - I could probably get away with them with long tops, so long as the top isn't too tight and clinging to my bum!

I should go shopping and take MASSES of stuff into the changing rooms shouldn't I?
